Basement Bathroom Reno

Here is our second bathroom reno, before and after pics. We kept the original vanity and made it higher.We then painted it white and added new hardware and a new sink. We also painted the mirror in a platinum color.

Home Renovations

It has been a while since my last post. We moved over the summer and now we have some renovating to do. I will be posting before and after pics of our reno's, so I hope you will stay tuned. Here is our first reno. It is our main floor bathroom. Now it is very functional, unlike before, where the shower area had no wall tiles. Hope you like it, and stay tuned for more reno's to come.

Retro Baby Quilt

I just finished this baby quilt. It was made from a quilt that was used by my daughter when she was a baby. She will be 30 soon. I used the quilt panel and added a new backing fabric and new batting in between. You can tell by the pictures on the quilt, that it isn't something you would too readily today.

Child's Swing

Just finished recovering this adorable child's swing that my neighbor was disgarding. I think my grandson will have fun this summer on it. The canopy was torn,  so I made a new one. I used new padding in the seats and back, and recovered them in this fun fabric. I also made the piping around the canopy in a contrasting color to match the red on  the arms of the swing. Wish I would have taken a before and after pic. The canopy was quite torn, but I managed to use it to trace a pattern for the new canopy.

Chair Makeover

I just finished recovering this little chair and ottoman for my
grandson. The piping was not difficult at all.
He finds it very comfortable when he's watching T.V.
